Paolo Masi was born in Florence in 1933. In the seventies the programmatic and theoric activity is linked with the participation in artistic groups that work on the transformation of the materials. In the 70’s he works on the bidimensional shapes with the project titled “Rilievi esterni – conferme interne” developed from 1974 with the polaroid shots of walls and pavements in New York and with the “Tessiture” (raw canvas) and “Cartoni” (cardboards).
