From 20 to 25.9.2022 was on show in Palazzo Mattioli in Vasto, with the patronage of the Municipal Culture Department, the exhibition “Percorsi nell’arte moderna italiana” curated by Sangallo Fine Art. The exhibition is an hommage to some of the most influent italian artists that expecially in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s were relevant in the italian and international art scene in particular from the Arte Povera and Transavanguardia movements.
The second purpose was to disprove that the modern art is just for a few when is actually the more democratic art of the ‘900. Infact from the 30’s the art market has become affordable for everybody thanks to the production of the editions, prints and multiples realized in a limited number of copies numbered and hand signed that bring more and more collectors and enthusiast in the market.
In this exhibition was displayd a selection of editions and unique pieces of some of the most important italian artists. Three prints of Alberto Burri, a relief by Enrico Castellani, a “tappeto natura” piece unique by Piero Gilardi, the multiple “Mollette” from 1973 by Michelangelo Pistoletto, a rare edition of Alighiero Boetti and other selected works.
